This exciting role involves working across multiple sectors—private or public—where you’ll have the opportunity to gain exposure to industry best practices and innovative solutions. With access to extensive training materials, you’ll grow as a physical asset management specialist, helping businesses streamline their processes to improve operational efficiency and asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Asset Management Optimization:
Develop and implement efficient Asset Management business processes to support a robust and effective asset management system for your client.
✔️ Problem Solving & Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement within client systems and apply structured problem-solving methodologies to deliver tailored solutions that enhance asset performance.
✔️ Training & Development:
Conduct asset management training, develop training materials, and share your knowledge with clients to ensure they can maintain and improve their systems.
✔️ Reporting & Analysis:
Identify and create essential reports that measure business processes and asset performance, providing clients with actionable insights.
✔️ Preventive Maintenance Management:
Ensure all Preventive Maintenance schedules are accurately created and work orders are issued to relevant service providers. Track feedback and address corrective actions promptly.
✔️ Client Support:
Provide ad-hoc client support for troubleshooting, training, and project-related needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
🎓 Education:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
🛠️ Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing, consulting, or utility industries.
- 1-year experience in an SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) environment is a plus.
🔧 Skills:
- Basic knowledge of asset management and reliability engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and an understanding of Project Management methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and develop solutions to improve processes.
Desired Skills:
✔️ SAP PM:
Experience with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) modules to manage work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
✔️ Project Management:
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, either through formal coursework or practical application, to successfully oversee projects from start to finish.
✔️ Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions in asset management processes.
