🌟 Job Summary

As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will support the Front Office Manager in overseeing front office functions, including Guest Services, Switchboard, Bell/Door Staff, and Front Desk operations. Your mission is to lead by example, drive exceptional customer service, and optimize operational efficiency – ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay.


✅ Key Responsibilities

🔹 Leadership & Team Supervision

  • Supervise front office operations and provide strong leadership during all shifts.

  • Coach and motivate staff to deliver high standards of guest service.

  • Support team members with decision-making, guidance, and problem-solving.

🔹 Operational Excellence

  • Monitor daily front office activities to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining departmental procedures and policies.

  • Step in during the Front Office Manager’s absence to manage full operations.

🔹 Guest Satisfaction

  • Foster a guest-centric culture by addressing complaints effectively.

  • Ensure personalized service is delivered at every interaction.

  • Regularly engage with guests for feedback and service improvement.

🔹 Reporting & Communication

  • Report key updates and performance metrics to executive leadership.

  • Drive improvement plans based on guest satisfaction surveys.

  • Maintain open lines of communication across departments.


🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED, with 3 years of experience in Front Desk, Guest Services, or related fields.
    OR

  • 2-year diploma/degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or similar, plus 2 years of experience in a comparable role.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and guest-centric mindset.

  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving ability.

  • Knowledge of property management systems (e.g. FOSSE, Guestware).

  • Able to coach and recognize team members effectively.
