The University of Pretoria is inviting applications for a Lecturer – Internal Auditing / CIA position within the Department of Auditing.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education
Minimum Requirements
- Honours Degree in a Financial Sciences-related field that provides access to a master’s degree and registration with the Institute of Internal Auditors as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
OR
- Relevant Master’s Degree in:
- Internal Audit
- Auditing
- Closely related field
Experience
- Lecturing experience or relevant industry experience
- Research experience or involvement in research activities
- Experience supervising student research (advantageous)
- Experience with blended learning (advantageous)
- Experience facilitating large student groups (advantageous)
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- Master’s Degree in Auditing / Internal Audit
- IT-related certification or qualification
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or similar
- Research publications in accredited journals
- Potential to develop as a scholar in the discipline
