About the Role
ADM is seeking a driven and innovative B2B Sales Account Manager with experience in food ingredients to lead and expand our plant-based and meat alternatives segment across South Africa. As part of our Sales, Customer Service & Origination team, you’ll actively manage relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities, helping drive sustainability and food innovation in the region.
🌟 Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow B2B food ingredient sales in South Africa.

Support and develop Key Accounts, distributors, and regular customers.

Implement sales and marketing strategies for the East African market.

Build and execute sales plans aligned with overall market strategy.

Develop customer solutions in collaboration with product development teams.

Monitor trends and identify market potential for meat alternatives and plant-based products.

Establish strong, long-term client relationships.

Coordinate effectively within a global, matrixed organization.
✅ Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Food Science, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in B2B food ingredients sales.
-
Knowledge of plant-based proteins, savory applications, snacks, dairy, or sweet goods markets.

Existing commercial contacts in the relevant industries are a strong advantage.

Excellent English communication skills; French or Portuguese is a plus.

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across the region.

Self-motivated, structured, and results-driven with excellent interpersonal skills.
