Role Overview: Bank Housekeeping Assistant (Manchester)

We are currently seeking a Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join our support team in Manchester. This is a flexible, on-call position ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

Your work directly contributes to the health, safety, and comfort of everyone in our facilities—making you a key part of the care journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all designated areas within the hospital are cleaned and maintained to the highest hygiene standards

• Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal

• Support infection control efforts by adhering to cleaning protocols in clinical and non-clinical areas

• Replenish supplies in restrooms, patient rooms, and public areas

• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and cleaning emergencies

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and responsibly

• Follow hospital procedures, health and safety policies, and confidentiality protocols

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferably in healthcare or hospitality)

• Awareness of infection prevention, hygiene, and health & safety practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative support team

• Strong attention to detail and high personal standards

• A friendly, respectful, and helpful attitude

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, or short-notice shifts
