We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced Banqueting Sous Chef to join our award-winning culinary team. You will play a key role in executing high-end events, banquets, and private functions. This role requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to deliver consistently exceptional food in a fast-paced luxury environment.
π§ Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute all banqueting culinary operations

Develop innovative, high-quality menus for events and functions

Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth execution during service

Maintain Four Seasons standards of food quality and presentation

Enforce hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior staff

Collaborate with the Events and F&B team to meet client expectations
π Minimum Requirements

Formal culinary qualification or diploma

3β5 yearsβ experience in a senior kitchen role within a luxury hotel

Proven track record in banqueting or high-volume event catering

Strong communication and leadership abilities

Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple events

Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa
