Job Overview
Novus Print is looking for a Bindery Administrator to join its Bindery department at the Montague Gardens facility in Cape Town.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the bindery production team, ensuring that documentation, staff planning, and departmental coordination are managed efficiently. The role involves handling work requests, coordinating meetings, maintaining administrative records, and assisting with departmental projects.
This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records and documentation

Attend to incoming enquiries and production work requests

Type, review, and distribute documents and correspondence

Ensure adherence to internal policies and operational procedures

Support the Bindery Manager with short-term departmental projects

Prepare staff planning schedules for bindery operations

Organise and coordinate departmental meetings

Assist in maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction

Support production teams in maintaining efficient workflow processes
Qualifications
Education
-
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Experience
-
3โ5 years of experience in a bindery or print production environment will be advantageous

Experience in administrative coordination within production or manufacturing operations
Skills

Strong organisational and planning abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision
