Role Overview
We are looking for passionate and dynamic individuals to join SPARK Schools as Blended Learning Facilitators in the Intermediate Phase. As a facilitator, you will drive student success by integrating project-based and online learning while maintaining a strong, positive classroom culture. You will work with students individually, in small groups, and in whole class settings.
Key Responsibilities
- ✔️ Foster a positive, high-performance student culture around online learning and independent work.
- ✔️ Coach students on various educational software and ensure its effective use.
- ✔️ Develop and implement lesson plans for project-based learning alongside the teaching team.
- ✔️ Collaborate with teachers and administrators to create personalized learning plans for students.
- ✔️ Incorporate SPARK’s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum into daily lessons.
- ✔️ Manage educational resources and ensure they are used responsibly.
- ✔️ Support the use of technology in the classroom, ensuring smooth and effective learning environments.
- ✔️ Actively participate in staff development and ongoing training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- ✔️ Grade 12 Certificate.
- ✔️ Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- ✔️ Police clearance certificate.
- ✔️ Currently studying part-time towards a B.Ed. or PGCE in Intermediate/Senior Phase education (3rd or 4th year).
- ✔️ Previous experience working with primary school-aged children is highly advantageous.
