Job Overview

Weir is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Branch Administrator to join its Mokopane branch. This role is ideal for candidates with strong administrative, customer service, and inventory management experience within mining, manufacturing, or related industries.

The successful candidate will support daily branch operations by ensuring efficient administration, accurate stock control, timely order processing, and excellent customer support. This position plays a key role in keeping branch processes running smoothly while supporting operational efficiency and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the ESCO Supply and Service Branch
  • Maintain inventory control and assist with stock forecasting to ensure product availability
  • Process customer sales orders, returns, credits, and invoices according to company procedures
  • Support customer administration processes including:
    • Credit applications
    • Past due invoice queries
    • Price list updates
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders professionally
  • Support daily operational processes and branch coordination
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and zero-harm culture
  • Assist in solving customer and operational challenges efficiently

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Relevant diploma or certificate in:
    • Office Administration
    • Business Administration
    • Related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Experience in:
    • Mining
    • Manufacturing
    • Related industrial environment
  • Customer service and stakeholder engagement experience

Skills Required

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Inventory control knowledge
  • Order processing and invoicing experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
