About the Role
Bradlows, a leader in the South African retail furniture industry, is on the lookout for a high-performing Branch Manager to join their team at Maponya Mall, Soweto. If you’re passionate about people, service, and sales, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be your next big move.
As the Branch Manager, you’ll take ownership of the store’s performance by driving sales, managing teams, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and contributing to the store’s profitability. You’ll lead a motivated team while delivering results in line with Bradlows’ commitment to quality, affordability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Profitability

Drive the store’s sales targets and profitability through effective planning and execution.

Analyse sales trends and implement strategies to increase performance.
Customer Experience
-
Maintain a customer-first culture, ensuring every shopper receives superior service.

Handle escalated customer queries with professionalism and care.
Operations & Financial Management
-
Oversee stock levels, inventory accuracy, and financial processes.

Ensure accurate record-keeping, cash-up procedures, and compliance to company standards.
Staff Leadership & Development
-
Manage a team of retail staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

Promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork.
Store Appearance & Merchandising
-
Ensure the store is visually appealing and aligned with Bradlows’ brand identity.

Implement effective merchandising strategies to drive footfall and increase conversion rates.
Safety & Security
-
Ensure all health, safety, and security standards are met and maintained.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
-
3-5 years of management experience in a retail environment
-
A Retail/Business Management Diploma (advantageous)
