Job Overview

As a Production Learner, you will report to the Production Foreman and contribute to tyre assembly operations while adhering to safety standards and production specifications. The role focuses on learning production processes, maintaining workplace organization, and meeting cycle-time targets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments of equipment before use.

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Maintain 3S (Sort, Set in order, Shine) standards in the work area.

• Check machine controls and ensure proper functionality.

• Remove empty spools, trolleys, rolls, and return to the component section.

• Push raw covers into storage bays and supply solutions to machines.

• Work collaboratively to meet production targets within the programme scope.

• Support the team in maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Minimum Grade 12 or N3 Certificate

• Mathematics (Pure Maths) and/or Physical Science

Experience:

• No prior experience required; this is a learnership for recent school leavers or N3 holders

Skills:

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Willingness to follow instructions and learn production procedures

• Physical stamina and reliability
