The Broiler Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing Goldi’s broiler farming operations in Standerton, including company-owned farms and contract grower operations. This role requires strong leadership, production planning, and administrative capability to ensure optimal broiler performance, compliance with operational standards, and continuous improvement across all farming activities.

  • Manage and oversee Goldi broiler farms within the Standerton operations

  • Supervise and support Contract Grower farms to ensure performance targets are met

  • Implement and maintain efficient broiler production systems and processes

  • Ensure accurate reporting, record keeping, and administrative control

  • Monitor production figures, performance metrics, and cost efficiencies

  • Lead and manage farm teams with a strong focus on people development

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including implementation of 20Keys principles

Education

  • B. Agric, B.Sc. Agric, or relevant agricultural qualification (advantageous)

Experience

  • Excellent managerial, leadership, and people management skills
