Role Overview
The Broker Sales Agent supports MiWay’s Broker Client Services team with inbound queries from brokers and broker clients, policy underwriting, needs assessments, and driving sales conversions. The role requires a confident communicator, a customer-obsessed approach, and strong short-term insurance experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation

Build rapport with brokers, deliver accurate quotes, and complete underwriting.

Follow up on leads and convert qualified prospects into active policies.

Upsell and cross-sell additional cover options to maximise client value.

Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
2. Customer Engagement

Conduct thorough needs analyses to recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

Follow up on outstanding leads, callbacks, and pending queries.

Address objections confidently and provide clear, professional responses.
3. Compliance & Accuracy

Ensure all processes follow FAIS, RE5, and industry regulations.

Maintain accurate records, follow scripts where required, and uphold quality assurance standards.

3+ years inbound call-centre and broker service experience

3+ years experience in the short-term insurance industry
