Job Summary
As a Business Analyst – Asset Finance, you will play a crucial role in evaluating credit applications, dealer approvals, and ensuring they align with Absa Credit’s lending policies. Your financial expertise will help structure optimal financing solutions while supporting the front-end sales team’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Credit Assessment & Risk Analysis: Evaluate credit applications and dealer approvals to ensure compliance with lending policies.
✔ Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development Officers (BDOs), Relationship Executives (REs), and clients to streamline credit application processes.
✔ Industry Research: Analyze market trends, industry profitability, and competitive positioning to assess credit risks effectively.
✔ Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth evaluations of clients’ financial statements, forecasting growth and sustainability.
✔ Scenario Planning: Perform sensitivity analyses to anticipate the financial impact of economic and political changes.
✔ Customized Finance Solutions: Develop structured commercial asset finance solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
✔ Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing research findings and recommendations for credit approvals.
Qualifications & Experience
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required).
📌 Experience: Prior experience in asset finance, credit risk assessment, or business analysis is advantageous.
