🎯 Role Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in product development and business process improvement across Unifi’s African operations. You’ll bridge business needs and technical solutions while working closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements through workshops and data analysis

  • Create user stories, wireframes, and process flows

  • Analyse current operations and help design future state processes

  • Define business rules and configurations for products and systems

  • Coordinate with dev, credit, data, and ops teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements

  • Prepare test cases and validate software against business needs

  • Support sprint planning and backlog grooming

  • Maintain knowledge bases and documentation tools (e.g. Confluence, Google Sites)

📚 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 2–5 years’ experience in business analysis, product support, or functional consulting

  • Experience in financial services or fintech is advantageous

  • Knowledge of Agile and cross-functional collaboration

  • Competence in SQL and tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Google Sheets

  • Clear communicator with the ability to simplify complex systems

  • Self-motivated, analytical, and organized

  • Experience working in the African market is a bonus
