As part of the Business Banking division, you’ll work from a Capitec Business Centre and become a trusted advisor to a portfolio of business clients. You’ll offer tailored banking solutions, build lasting relationships, and contribute directly to business growth — both for our clients and for Capitec.

🎯 Key Purpose of the Role

To deliver sales and service excellence in a Business Centre environment by retaining and growing a portfolio of business clients. You’ll identify value-added financial product opportunities, tailor solutions from standard or customized offerings, and support the financial success of SMEs.

✅ Key Responsibilities

✔️ Manage and grow a portfolio of business clients
✔️ Identify and implement appropriate banking solutions
✔️ Prepare, analyse, and motivate credit applications
✔️ Ensure compliance with banking regulations (FAIS, FICA, etc.)
✔️ Provide expert advice on Capitec’s product suite
✔️ Maintain strong client relationships and exceed service expectations
✔️ Support cost control, sales management, and credit risk compliance

🎓 Minimum Requirements

📘 Qualification: Diploma in Commerce or Finance
🧠 Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in banking, focusing on service and financial analysis

• Proven experience preparing and motivating credit applications

• Cost control and sales management exposure

📋 Knowledge:

• CRM principles and business banking products

• Financial statements, ratios, and analysis

• Understanding of legal business entities and relevant legislation (e.g., CPIC)

• Familiarity with the FAIS and FICA Acts

• Awareness of competitors and current industry practices

💡 Ideal Additional Qualifications & Experience

✅ 1+ year in Business Banking, focusing on credit application prep
✅ FAIS Key Individual accreditation (FSCA approval)
✅ Understanding of taxation laws, business registration, and bank-specific admin processes
