π§© JOB OVERVIEW
The Graduate in Training β Business Development role is designed for ambitious graduates seeking hands-on exposure in renewable energy project development and market expansion. The graduate will support the Business Development team in identifying new opportunities, preparing commercial and technical documentation, conducting market research, and assisting with project feasibility and stakeholder engagement.
This role provides a strong foundation for a long-term career in energy, infrastructure development, and strategic business growth.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare technical and commercial documents such as proposals, investment memorandums, project overviews and tender submissions

Support the development and implementation of business development strategies across priority markets and sectors

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project feasibility, including technical, financial and regulatory considerations

Conduct market, client, competitor and partner research aligned with the companyβs mission and growth objectives

Assist with due diligence processes, including site assessments, risk analysis and preliminary evaluations
-
Support engagement into targeted sectors and client groups to advance project opportunities
-
Compile research summaries, internal reports and content for internal and external use

Prepare business development presentations for clients, investors and project partners
-
Provide administrative and coordination support to the Business Development unit

Assist with proposal calendars, deadline trackers and reporting schedules
-
Ensure accurate and secure management of client and project documentation in line with data protection policies
π QUALIFICATIONS
Education
-
Degree in Engineering (all disciplines considered) or Finance
-
Coursework in Project Management or Project Finance is essential
Experience
-
No formal work experience required

Exposure through internships, academic projects or case studies will be advantageous
Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Analytical thinking with attention to detail

Research, reporting and presentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions and work independently
