🧩 JOB OVERVIEW

The Visa Business Development Internship provides students with practical exposure to the payments industry, sales strategies, and operational support. Interns will collaborate with local teams to support business planning, client engagement, and competitive analysis while gaining insight into the payments ecosystem.

This internship offers a structured learning environment with the potential to transition into a full-time role starting January 2027.

📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative and operational support to the local business development team

• Contribute to development, production, and implementation of initiatives in the Country Plans

• Monitor competition and analyze market trends

• Assist the team with client queries, issues, and follow-ups

• Support Business Planning & Operations teams with periodic reporting (weekly, monthly, or quarterly)

• Assist with updates to Playbooks and Country Plans

• Coordinate with other Visa departments to track Country Plan execution

• Complete ad hoc project work, research, presentations, and other initiatives as requested by management

• Develop a sales management mindset, analytical thinking, and project management skills

• Gain understanding of the global payments landscape

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, graduating in December 2026

Skills

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills

• Strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to collaborate with diverse peers

• Ability to articulate viewpoints to stakeholders and gain agreement

• Self-motivated, confident, and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
