🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As the Business Development Manager – Mining Sector, you will:
-
Develop Strategic Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with mining operators, EPC contractors, engineering houses, and other key stakeholders.
-
Drive Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities, execute sales strategies, and expand Aggreko’s footprint within the African mining sector.

Deliver Insight & Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to uncover trends and provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.

Lead Complex Sales Processes: Manage pipeline activities, develop value-based proposals, and secure long-term power solution contracts.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Bid Managers, Engineers, Legal, and Pricing teams to deliver customer-focused energy solutions.
✅ Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 8 years of experience in providing complex technical or energy solutions
-
Proven success in closing high-value contracts
-
Deep network in the mining sector across Africa

Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation skills

Fluency in English and French
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
