🧩 What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Manager, your core mission will be to drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and securing hotel partnerships through innovative technology solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on closing deals, building relationships, and making a real impact in a high-growth industry.

βœ… Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow sales across South Africa by building strategic client pipelines

  • Manage the complete sales cycle β€” meetings, negotiations, contract prep, and closing

  • Establish strong long-term relationships with clients, promoting up-selling and cross-selling opportunities

  • Represent Profitroom at key industry events to strengthen our brand presence

  • Develop and execute a growth-focused sales strategy aligned with financial goals

  • Present and communicate the value of our product suite tailored to client needs

  • Work closely with marketing to support outreach and promotional efforts

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales documentation, and revenue reports

  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices

  • Proven sales track record in the hospitality industry (ideally in a tech-focused role)

  • Strong professional network within the hotel or hospitality sector

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Fluency in English (a second language is a plus)

  • Commercially driven, detail-oriented, and process-focused

  • Willingness to travel and represent the brand internationally
