🎯 Role Overview

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:

• Transform raw data into strategic insights using BI tools and methods

• Work independently on complex datasets and deliver actionable intelligence

• Build impactful dashboards and reports that guide executive decisions

• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve real business problems

• Drive Capitec’s data evolution using tools like Power BI, SQL, and cloud platforms

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or similar

• 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics

• Advanced SQL proficiency

• Hands-on experience with Power BI or other visualization tools

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)

• Experience in data life cycle, warehousing, and stakeholder engagement

🌐 Knowledge & Tools

• Dimensional Modelling & Data Product Life Cycle

• Agile project methodologies

• Low-code/No-code AutoML platforms (Power BI, AWS Sagemaker)

• Data privacy, security, and incident management best practices

• Design thinking and change management (advantageous)

• Previous banking or financial services experience (preferred)
