Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to enhance our sales reporting landscape. The successful candidate will design analytical reports, gather business requirements, and collaborate with data warehouse architects to improve data schemas.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources (sales, customer, accounting, etc.) to create integrated views that drive decision-making.
✅ Work with large and complex SQL databases to develop and maintain BI reports.
✅ Design OLAP or Tabular Model Cubes within a SQL environment.
✅ Collaborate with clients to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions.
✅ Establish company-wide reporting standards and terminology.
✅ Implement BI tools and infrastructure, integrating them with company data sources.
✅ Identify and implement optimizations for existing reports and data schemas.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
📌 Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Microsoft environment using SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
Technical Skills & Competencies
🔹 Proven experience as a BI Developer/BI Analyst.
🔹 Strong SQL Server knowledge (2010 or higher).
🔹 Familiarity with BI technologies like Microsoft Power BI & PowerApps.
🔹 Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks.
🔹 Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling).
🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
🔹 Insurance industry experience is preferred.
