Key Responsibilities πŸ”‘

  • Inbound Call Handling: Efficiently handle incoming calls from clients and business partners in a friendly and professional manner. Address membership, premium, and claims inquiries with ease.
  • Outbound Calls: Make outbound calls as required, assisting with queries, updates, and information requests.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, managing difficult and irate callers with patience and professionalism.
  • Query Routing: Redirect complex or unresolved queries to the appropriate back-office teams for swift resolution.
  • Mailbox Support: Assist with managing the mailbox during peak periods by responding to emails promptly and accurately.
  • Complaint Management: Handle complaints efficiently, ensuring that all concerns are addressed professionally and timely.
  • Admin Support: Assist with administrative tasks across the Admed Division, ensuring accurate and timely data capturing.
  • Customer Fairness: Ensure all functions align with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), with a particular focus on Outcome 6 (ensuring customers can easily change products, switch providers, or make claims).

  • Education:
    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • A certificate in customer service training or call centre skills and administration skills is essential.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inbound call centre environment.
    • At least 1 year of administration experience.
    • Previous experience with gap cover or medical scheme servicing/administration is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Bilingual (Fluent in both English and Afrikaans).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to manage difficult customers.
    • Results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
    • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
    • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
    • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure, ensuring high-quality service even during busy times.
