Planet Fitness, South Africa’s largest privately owned health and wellness company, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Call Centre Agent to join their expanding team in Sandton. As a Call Centre Agent, your role will focus on ensuring fast, effective, and continuous customer service. You will be responsible for handling inquiries, addressing customer concerns, and representing the customer to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Customer Advocacy:

Represent customers’ needs and concerns within the business to ensure customer satisfaction.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of Planet Fitness products and services, using this knowledge to resolve customer inquiries effectively.
✔ Query Resolution & Complaint Handling:
-
Assist customers with existing policy queries, general inquiries, and complaints.

Provide timely solutions and follow through to ensure customer issues are fully resolved.
✔ Data Management & Updates:

Update customer information accurately in the system to ensure the integrity of records.

Ensure all customer interactions are documented properly for follow-up and future reference.
✔ Tele-sales Experience:

Manage both inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional service to current and prospective clients.

Apply tele-sales techniques to promote services and resolve queries.
✔ Adherence to Customer Service Principles:

Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills when handling all calls.

Apply customer service principles to enhance customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Experience & Competencies:
✔ Inbound & Outbound Call Centre Experience:
-
At least 1 year of previous experience in a call centre environment is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
✔ Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Intermediate computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.

Strong listening skills and customer-centric approach to service.

Persuasive negotiation skills to handle complex customer queries.
✔ Flexibility & Adaptability:

Willingness to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing business needs.

Ability to work under pressure and stay calm during high-stress situations.
