Role Overview

πŸ› οΈ Candidate Engineer – Dams and Hydropower
You will provide technical support in dam engineering, hydropower, and hydraulic projects. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to feasibility studies, design, inspections, and construction support for both local and international projects.


Key Responsibilities

β€’ Assist with dam safety inspections under supervision.
β€’ Support designs for all types of dams, including structural and hydraulic elements.
β€’ Participate in quality assurance during dam construction.
β€’ Prepare project specifications, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
β€’ Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses of catchment runoff and watercourses.
β€’ Perform hydraulic modelling and design of spillways and related hydraulic structures.
β€’ Utilise design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, etc.).
β€’ Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.


Qualifications and Experience

πŸŽ“ Education
β€’ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

πŸ’Ό Experience
β€’ 0–3 years post-graduation.
β€’ Exposure to dam engineering or hydropower projects is advantageous.

πŸ’» Technical Skills
β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
β€’ Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS) is preferred.
