🎯 Purpose of the Role
The Account Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining and managing business banking portfolios. You will act as a central contact point for customer service queries, provide administrative support, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Additionally, you will monitor loan facilities daily against set parameters and conditions.
📌 Experience & Qualifications
✅ Minimum Experience:
✔️ 5+ years of relevant banking experience, including at least 1 year in Business Banking
✔️ Strong background in preparing and motivating credit applications
🎓 Minimum Qualifications:
✔️ Diploma in Commerce or Banking
🎓 Ideal Qualifications:
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce
📚 Key Knowledge Areas
🔹 Understanding of Business Banking operations and financial requirements
🔹 Credit principles, application processes, securities, and balance sheet analysis
🔹 General banking procedures and client relationship management
🔹 Administration processes for Business Banking transactions
🔹 Familiarity with FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act)
✨ Advantageous: Knowledge of competitor products, operational and marketing strategies, and Capitec/Business Bank systems.
