Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process cash payments to scrap suppliers.

• Manage large volumes of cash receipts and payments with utmost precision.

• Count, reconcile and prepare daily cash deposits.

• Maintain organized records and file all cash office documentation.

• Assist in checking EFT proof of payments and customer invoices.

• Work efficiently to meet strict daily deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant cashier experience in a high-pressure, cash-handling environment.

• Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet tools.

• Mathematics: Strong numerical skills with the ability to perform quick and accurate calculations.

Preferred Attributes:

• Knowledge of bulk cash counting machines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized, methodical, and able to prioritize tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.

• A proactive attitude and ability to work overtime when required.
