Role Overview

As a Cashier at NTK Retail, you will be responsible for administering and controlling all cash and card transactions while providing excellent client service. You will ensure that payments are accurately processed, receipts are handled correctly, and daily banking is conducted efficiently. You will also assist with back-office administrative tasks and help create a smooth and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Handling & Sales

• Process Paypoint sales efficiently.

• Handle all cash and card transactions accurately.

• Ensure receipts from customers and card payments are properly allocated.

• Conduct daily banking of cash and cheques.

Client Service

• Deliver friendly and professional customer service at all times.

• Assist clients with queries and resolve conflicts effectively.

Back-Office & Administration

• Complete back-office tasks related to transactions and reporting.

• Maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.

• Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.

• Previous cashier or retail experience is advantageous.

• Excellent client service and communication skills.

• Numerate, accurate, and energetic.

• Ability to handle conflicts professionally.
