Role Overview

As a Cashier at Pedros Maponya Mall, you will be the first point of contact for customers while ensuring that all products are prepared to standard. You will maintain high hygiene and food safety standards, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to a fast, smooth, and enjoyable service experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Operations

• Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional service.

• Take and process orders accurately at the point of sale.

• Prepare menu items quickly and according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Ensure speed of service while maintaining quality standards.

Hygiene & Food Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas according to SOPs.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of food to meet food safety regulations.

• Monitor and maintain equipment, workstations, and utensils to meet health standards.

Teamwork & Store Support

• Assist colleagues during peak hours.

• Support operational tasks including preparation, stock management, and service flow.

• Follow all company policies and procedures to deliver a consistent experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year experience in restaurant or fast-food service.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Good verbal communication skills.

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
