Job Overview

Fedics, part of Tsebo Solutions Group, is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee day-to-day operational management of a key account in Pretoria. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality service delivery, manage client relationships, lead a team, and maintain operational efficiency and profitability in line with site-specific SLA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for managing the catering unit

• Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team of staff

• Set and maintain service delivery standards

• Implement operational controls in line with budget requirements

• Ensure food preparation, presentation, and service meet Fedics standards

• Manage daily HR and IR issues, including performance management and development

• Analyse client needs and pre-empt complaints

• Organise, prepare, and coordinate all functions

• Manage site administration, finances, debtors, budgets, and P&L reports

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers

• Work long hours and weekends as required

• Stay updated on food trends and best practices

Minimum Requirements

• Matric and Culinary tertiary qualification

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar catering management role

• Familiarity with accounting systems and budget management

• Previous experience in the healthcare space advantageous

• Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and reliability

• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills

• Computer literacy and innovative approach to operational systems
