Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure such as roads, bridges, dams, and water supply systems.

• Conduct site investigations, surveys, and assessments.

• Analyse survey reports, maps, and other data to prepare project documentation.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.

• Prepare project proposals, reports, technical drawings, and cost estimates.

• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and government bodies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Use design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) to create detailed project plans.

• Monitor project progress and supervise on-site construction activities.

• Manage and mitigate engineering risks and ensure quality assurance.

• Support junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

✅ What You Need to Succeed

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/BSc Eng).

• Registered or in the process of registering with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa).

• Minimum 2–5 years of post-graduate experience in civil infrastructure or structural projects.

• Proven track record working on large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, etc.).
