About the Role

Hatch is seeking a highly experienced Civil Site Supervisor to join its Project Delivery Group (PDG) for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This site-based position is ideal for a skilled professional ready to supervise, lead, and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, project timelines, and quality assurance.

As a key member of our construction team, you will oversee contractors and subcontractors in your assigned discipline and work area, ensuring the execution of all project phases aligns with Hatch’s world-class methodologies and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities and coordinate contractors and subcontractors in your discipline.

• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

• Facilitate design deliverables to support smooth, continuous construction.

• Address and resolve non-conformance or deficiencies in coordination with the Construction Manager.

• Support site administration tasks and documentation according to the Construction Execution Plan.

• Assist in construction planning, cost control, estimating, and reporting.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Technical degree, diploma, or trade qualifications with significant on-site supervisory experience.

• Minimum of 5–10 years experience on large-scale construction projects.

• Demonstrated focus on HSE compliance and project safety.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive site teams to meet goals.

• Effective communicator with excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities.

• Deep understanding of EPCM project delivery and cross-discipline project dynamics.

• Broad industry knowledge and ability to apply best practices and standards in construction.

• Willingness to travel to and work from remote project sites for extended periods.
