Job Overview

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming office environment while providing support to internal clients and visitors. The role includes general cleaning duties, preparation of refreshments for meetings, adherence to health and safety standards, and assistance with ad hoc operational tasks in line with PPECB policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of offices, buildings, and common areas

• Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and visitors

• Ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards are consistently met

• Support internal clients and visitors professionally

• Assist with general duties and ad hoc operational tasks

• Comply with Human Capital and financial policies and procedures

• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

• Participate in continuous self-improvement aligned with PPECB performance standards

Qualifications

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office or commercial cleaning

Skills

• Knowledge of hygiene practices and cleaning products

• Ability to operate office cleaning equipment

• Basic understanding of occupational health and safety

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong sense of accountability and responsibility
