Job Overview

Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is looking for an experienced Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in the Cape Region.

This permanent role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader with experience in cleaning services, team supervision, SLA management, client relationship management, and site quality control.

The successful candidate will ensure service excellence, compliance with quality standards, and strong client retention through effective operational leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Team Management

  • Manage cleaning teams across designated sites
  • Ensure attendance and performance standards are met
  • Schedule labour using workforce management systems
  • Supervise staff and daily operational delivery
  • Manage stock levels and cleaning materials
  • Ensure timely replenishment of supplies

Client & SLA Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs
  • Support contract retention and client satisfaction
  • Address operational service issues promptly

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Conduct regular site inspections
  • Perform site audits against quality standards
  • Ensure hygiene and cleaning process compliance
  • Monitor adherence to company standards

HR & Performance Management

  • Handle discipline and grievance matters
  • Manage staff performance reviews
  • Support labour relations processes
  • Ensure compliance with labour procedures

Qualifications

Education

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Relevant Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in:
    • Retail
    • Operations Management
    • Retail Management
    • Related field

Experience

  • Proven experience in cleaning operations
  • Staff supervision and team leadership experience
  • Multi-site management experience is advantageous

Skills

  • Strong cleaning and hygiene process knowledge
  • SLA interpretation and compliance monitoring
  • Site audit and inspection experience
  • Basic HR and labour legislation knowledge
  • MS Excel proficiency
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management
