Santam Client Solutions has an exciting permanent opportunity for a Client Engagement Adviser to join its team based in Tygervalley, Cape Town. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong short-term insurance experience who thrives in a call centre environment and is passionate about delivering world-class client service.

Role Purpose

The Client Engagement Adviser is responsible for offering high-quality insurance products and services to clients while consistently achieving performance targets related to quality, productivity, service levels, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong administrative accuracy, excellent communication skills, and a client-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately capture and update client information on relevant systems

• Execute client requests within agreed service level agreements, quality standards, and legislative requirements

• Handle all administrative tasks in line with required turnaround times

• Engage with clients in a professional, client-centric manner

• Ensure accurate completion of client requests and follow up to confirm resolution

• Provide effective, efficient, and professional service via telephonic and written channels

• Consistently meet and exceed client service level agreements

• Maintain high productivity and quality standards in a call centre environment

• Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric

• NQF Level 4 Qualification in Short-Term Insurance

• Regulatory Exam RE5 (advantageous)

Experience

• 5 to 7 years’ experience in a customer service role

• Previous experience within the short-term insurance industry (preferred)

• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong customer service orientation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively under pressure

• Strong administrative skills

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to service delivery

Probation & Assessment Requirements

The role includes a three-month probation period, consisting of:

• A six-week structured training phase with a formal knowledge assessment

• An on-the-job evaluation phase where performance is measured against agreed targets and service standards
