Job Overview

The Department of Employment and Labour is recruiting Entry Level Client Service Officers to strengthen service delivery at labour centres nationwide.

The role focuses on providing frontline client support, processing UIF-related services, and ensuring efficient administrative operations. This opportunity offers unemployed South Africans a solid entry point into public service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide screening and frontline client services

  • Process UIF benefit applications accurately

  • Register payment continuation forms

  • Perform general administrative duties

  • Handle public enquiries professionally

  • Ensure compliance with UIF and departmental policies


Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

Experience

  • Entry-level position; no prior work experience required

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
