Overview
The South African National Roads Agency is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer with expertise in Active Directory (AD) and Exchange to join our ICT team. If you have a strong IT background and a passion for cloud and on-premise environments, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- ✔ System Management:
- Manage systems in accordance with ITIL methodologies.
- Respond to helpdesk calls and resolve issues promptly.
- ✔ Service Level Management:
- Oversee SLA management for service availability.
- Follow ITIL-based change, incident, and problem management processes.
- ✔ Technical Support:
- Provide support for identity, messaging, and both cloud-based and on-premise applications (Email & AD).
- Troubleshoot and resolve tickets within KPI targets.
- ✔ Operational Excellence:
- Coordinate end-to-end implementation of approved changes.
- Actively participate in infrastructure projects and continuous improvements.
- ✔ Reporting & Documentation:
- Generate daily reports on Active Directory and Exchange service KPIs.
- Compile reports on ticket statuses and ad-hoc requests for business insights.
Minimum Requirements
- 🎓 Diploma in Information Technology (NQF Level 6)
- ⏳ Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience
- 🏆 Certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
- Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Administrator
Desirable Attributes
- 🔍 Monitoring Expertise:
- Experience in monitoring enterprise services (Network, Applications, Backups, Servers)
- 🛠 ITIL Foundation Certification
- 💡 Proactive Approach:
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- 📄 Documentation Skills:
- Capable of producing technical documentation, bulletins, and release notes.
