💼 About the Role

As a Senior Network Cloud Engineer, you’ll be an essential part of the cloud infrastructure team, designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance networking solutions within the AWS cloud ecosystem. You’ll contribute to core infrastructure, support secure networking protocols, and play a key role in ensuring resilience and uptime across our digital services.

This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cloud technologies, thrive in complex environments, and want to make a measurable impact in digital banking.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud technologies

• 8+ years in networking, including on-prem/data center and cloud networking

• Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational

• Proven success in large enterprise IT environments

• Relevant certifications in cloud and networking (e.g. AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Cisco, etc.)

🎓 Ideal Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

💡 Technical Knowledge & Skills:

• Deep understanding of cloud networking protocols, hybrid cloud, public cloud architectures

• Familiarity with virtualization tools such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes

• Skills in infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and troubleshooting production environments

• Strong understanding of network security, performance optimization, and CI/CD pipelines
