Are you passionate about hospitality and customer service? Hyatt Regency Cape Town is seeking a dedicated Cluster Reservations Agent to join their dynamic team. As the first point of contact for guest reservations, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless experience for guests, travel agents, and referral networks. This position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients while working in a world-class hotel environment.

Responsibilities:

✅ Respond promptly to all reservation queries from guests, travel agents, and referral networks.

✅ Process reservations from the sales office, hotel departments, and external sources.

✅ Familiarize yourself with room types, layouts, and availability to provide accurate information to clients.

✅ Communicate reservation information effectively to the front desk and relevant departments.

✅ Maintain accurate reservation records and process cancellations or modifications in a timely manner.

✅ Prepare confirmation letters and track reservation deposits and arrivals.

✅ Monitor room availability and assist in forecasting room revenue and occupancy.

✅ Participate in preregistration activities as required.

✅ Assist with reception duties and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

✅ Always maintain a professional and positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
Qualifications:
-
🎓 Grade 12 and a formal qualification in hospitality or related field.

💼 Previous experience in hotel reservations, especially in group accommodation and events.

🖥 Familiar with hotel software and its functionalities.

🗣 Proficient in English (written and spoken).

🤝 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
