Job Overview

The Collections Administrator Internship is part of SHRA’s Graduate Internship Programme aimed at providing unemployed graduates (under 35) with hands-on workplace experience. Interns will gain exposure to rental management, financial administration, and legal processes within the social housing sector, helping build skills for a future career in public administration or finance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer rental accounts and statements

  • Undertake rent collection and deposit administration

  • Manage rent payments arrangements and billing

  • Conduct credit control and maintain rent roll reporting

  • Support legal administration related to rentals

  • Perform general bookkeeping and administrative functions


Qualifications

Education

  • National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Financial Management

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of rental management and bookkeeping

  • Experience with credit control

  • Computer literacy and administrative skills

  • Attention to detail and organisational capability

Experience

  • No prior work experience required; relevant internships or academic projects advantageous
