Anglo American is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our dedicated team at the Rustenburg Base Metals Refinery (RBMR). In this role, you will provide analytical support to our Commercial team and contribute to the financial performance of our operations. 🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• 📊 Financial Target Breakdown: Assist the Commercial Advisor in breaking down financial targets for various site areas.

• 🗂️ Budgeting Support: Provide operational support during the budgeting process, gather inputs, and offer detailed analyses.

• 📈 Business Case Modelling: Support business case modeling for capital projects on-site and assist in post-investment reviews.

• 💡 Financial Forecasting: Collate and track financial forecasts and monitor site financial performance against budget.

• 💼 Capital Project Monitoring: Oversee the execution of capital projects and track CapEx spend against the budget.

• 🧰 Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide insights and analyses for discussions with Commercial Finance Specialists and help create business cases.

• 🔄 Process Improvement: Support the implementation of commercial improvement initiatives, including the dashboard roll-out.

• 👥 Team Collaboration: Foster a purpose-driven, high-performing culture and collaborate closely with team members to achieve business objectives.

💼 What We’re Looking For:

• 🎓 Tertiary qualifications in Business Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Postgraduate is advantageous).

• 💼 At least 2 years’ experience in accounting or a similar field.

• 🖥️ Technical skills in Excel (required) and Power BI (advantageous).

• 🔍 Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide data-driven insights to improve financial performance.

• 💬 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• 🚗 Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s license.
