Key Responsibilities:
Safety:
✔ Foster a safety-first culture through robust operational systems and processes
✔ Ensure a risk-controlled environment for all employees and partners
Performance and Delivery:
✔ Assist in setting financial targets and support site budgeting processes
✔ Collaborate with Commercial Finance Specialists on financial reports and analyses
✔ Track CapEx spend and support capital project monitoring
✔ Conduct post-investment reviews to assess financial impact and efficiency
✔ Provide insights and recommendations for commercial improvement initiatives
✔ Manage business case development and sensitivity analysis for improvement opportunities
People & Teams:
✔ Contribute to creating a high-performing, inclusive, and diverse team culture
✔ Actively engage in team processes and act as a role model within your discipline
Compliance:
✔ Ensure alignment with external regulations and Anglo American standards
✔ Promote governance in line with company policies and best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
✔ Tertiary qualifications in Business Accounting, Finance, or Economics
✔ Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s license
Desirable:
✔ Postgraduate qualifications in Business Accounting, Finance, or Economics
✔ Experience in the mining industry or similar sectors
Experience & Skills:
✔ Minimum 2 years in an accounting or finance-related role
✔ Proficient in Excel; Power BI experience advantageous
✔ Knowledge of operational processes and financial monitoring
✔ Strong data management and analysis capabilities
