Job Overview:

We are currently looking for passionate, entrepreneurial, and self-driven individuals to join our team as Commissioned Financial Advisors. As a Commissioned Financial Advisor at Old Mutual, your role will be central to helping our valued customers achieve their lifetime financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🏅 Procure New Business: Actively identify and pursue opportunities to bring in new clients, developing lasting relationships based on trust and financial insight.
  • 🔄 Expand Existing Client Portfolio: Build upon existing relationships to increase sales and offer additional products and services that align with the client’s evolving financial needs.
  • 🧑‍💼 Work Primarily on Own Leads: Although support is provided, much of your client base will come from your initiative, giving you control over your success.
  • 💼 Financial Planning & Advice: Guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their financial future, helping them plan and implement personalized financial solutions.
  • 📈 Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals by recommending and implementing “fit-for-purpose” financial plans.

Skills and Experience:

  • ✔️ Self-Motivated: A proactive, driven individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • ✔️ Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of financial products, planning, and advising clients.
  • ✔️ Relationship-Building: Excellent interpersonal skills to build lasting, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • ✔️ Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in the financial services or insurance industry, will be an advantage.
