About the Communications Internship

The Communications Internship offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring communications and graphic design professionals to gain hands-on experience within a global corporate environment. This role supports the development and execution of creative communication initiatives that strengthen Corteva’s brand presence and enhance engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.

As a Communications Intern, you will work closely with the Communications team to design visually compelling content across digital and print platforms, contribute to multimedia projects, and ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all communication materials.


Key Responsibilities

Creative Design and Content Development

  • Design visually engaging assets for digital and print platforms, including social media graphics, posters, infographics, presentations, and internal communication materials

  • Assist in the development of creative concepts for communication campaigns across multiple channels

  • Support multimedia content creation, including basic video content and interactive graphics

Brand Management and Compliance

  • Ensure all communication materials adhere strictly to Corteva brand guidelines

  • Contribute to maintaining and strengthening brand consistency across African markets

  • Complete design projects accurately and within agreed timelines

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with the Communications team and cross-functional departments to integrate design elements into broader communication initiatives

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design ideas

  • Support internal and external communication initiatives as required

Tools and Systems

  • Use Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, to produce high-quality visual content

  • Assist with organising and managing creative assets and design files

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification or academic background in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

  • Fundamental understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and composition

  • Strong creative and analytical skills

  • A compelling portfolio showcasing graphic design and visual communication work

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
