Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this learnership, you must:

✔️ Have at least Grade 10 with Mathematics, Science, and English
✔️ Be willing and physically able to train in underground mining conditions
✔️ Have good communication skills in English (read, write, speak)
✔️ Be physically fit and able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
✔️ Not be afraid of working at heights or near heavy machinery
✔️ Be ready to undergo a practical driving and behavioural assessment
✔️ Show commitment to safety and working under pressure in a team

Advantageous (But Not Mandatory)

⭐ Valid K53 driver’s license
⭐ Previous experience in a mining environment

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Operate underground mining machinery under supervision
🧹 Maintain cleanliness and safety in the mining areas
🔍 Assist in machinery inspections and report any faults
🎓 Participate in all scheduled training and development sessions
