đź’Ľ Role Overview
We are looking for a Compliance and Legal Advisor to join our Legal & Compliance team. You will work closely with the Compliance and Legal Manager to ensure that Hollywoodbets Holdings Group and its subsidiaries remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, while providing strong legal support to the business.
đź› Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and oversee legal agreements across multiple entities.

Advise on high-risk clauses in supplier contracts, marketing agreements, leases, software supplier agreements, and other business-critical documents.

Monitor legal developments (e.g., POPIA, FICA, AML) and inform internal stakeholders of impacts.

Support the implementation and maintenance of a contract management system.

Assist with POPI compliance across all groups, including reporting and committee participation.

Provide legal support in disputes with Gambling Boards and other regulatory bodies.

Manage applications for licences, renewals, relocations, financial acquisitions, and amendments to regulatory bodies.

Prepare and submit reports to provincial Gambling Boards within set deadlines.

Negotiate, monitor, and renew lease agreements.

Liaise with municipal, provincial, and national regulatory authorities.

Coordinate and prepare for regulatory audits.

Legal degree with commercial law experience.

Proficient in drafting legal agreements.

Computer literate.
Preferred:

Experience in a corporate legal team.

Valid driver’s licence.
