Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure Danone South Africa’s compliance with all national and international laws, industry regulations, and internal policies.

• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential legal and ethical risks.

• Develop and deliver training to staff on compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with various departments to embed a strong compliance culture within daily operations.

• Investigate, report, and resolve any compliance issues or breaches.

• Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory landscapes and advise the business on necessary changes.

• Assist in creating and maintaining compliance management tools and reporting systems.

What You’ll Bring:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role—experience within the dairy or food industry is advantageous.

• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards specific to the food and beverage sector.

• Strong background in compliance audits and risk assessments.

• Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
