Job Description:

Are you looking to take your career to the next level in compliance support? Discovery, a global leader in health and life insurance, is seeking a Compliance Support Administrator to join their dynamic team within the FAIS Centre of Excellence. This exciting role involves a range of administrative responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth operations and compliance adherence within the company’s financial services.

As part of the Group Compliance division, you will provide essential support to the business and compliance teams. You will also maintain the Representative Registers for all Discovery FSPs, offering critical insights and updates on key regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Conducting Pre-Employment checks for representatives
🔹 Compiling viability assessments for representatives
🔹 Analyzing feedback from various compliance checks (Credit, Criminal, Sequestration, etc.)
🔹 Liaising with external vendors for checks (MIE & FSCA)
🔹 Providing feedback and support to business teams
🔹 Managing onboarding and resignation processes for representatives
🔹 Processing Supervision Sign-offs and competency updates
🔹 Conducting investigations related to representatives’ profiles
🔹 Managing work pool to prevent cases from exceeding SLAs

Required Skills & Experience:
✔️ Previous experience in a financial services compliance role
✔️ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔️ Ability to work independently and in a team setting
✔️ Law degree required; RE 5 certification preferred
✔️ Advanced knowledge of compliance procedures, rules, and controls
✔️ Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail
