Role Purpose
Momentum Health, an entity of Momentum Group, is offering an exciting Learnership opportunity for individuals who are unemployed and living in Gauteng. If you are a dynamic, self-starter passionate about client service, this is your chance to kickstart your career in the Medical Aid Administration and insurance industry.
As a Contact Centre Learner, you will gain invaluable theoretical knowledge and practical experience through a work-based learning programme. Upon completion, you will be awarded the Occupational Certificate: Health Care Benefits Advisor NQF Level 5 (SAQA ID 105030), opening the door to potential career opportunities in the healthcare and insurance sectors.
This 12-month learnership will provide you with the tools and experience needed to succeed in the industry. While it doesn’t guarantee permanent employment, it offers a significant opportunity for career development.
Requirements
๐น Educational Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Passed Mathematics with 40% or Mathematical Literacy with a minimum of 60%
- Passed English and another South African language with a minimum of 50%
๐น Additional Requirements
- Unemployed and able to commit to a 12-month learnership
- South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 30 years
- Available from 01 May 2025 to 30 April 2026
- Not studying (part-time or full-time) at a tertiary level during the duration of the learnership
- Computer literacy is an advantage

Duties & Responsibilities
๐ Classroom and On-the-Job Training
- Participate in classroom activities and complete practical on-the-job training as required by Momentum Metropolitan.
- Acquire knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures to excel in your role.
- Compile a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).
๐ Work-Based Learning & Assessments
- Complete logbooks for work-based learning and achieve the required formative and summative assessments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using company systems and understanding operational processes.
- Maintain a professional work ethic and exhibit the Momentum Group values at all times.
๐ Collaboration & Problem-Solving
- Demonstrate collaboration with colleagues, clients, and teams.
- Ability to work under pressure while staying client-focused.
- Use problem-solving skills to address client needs efficiently.
