Learnership Overview

Momentum Health is offering an exciting Contact Centre Learner Learnership for unemployed youth residing in Gauteng. This 12-month structured learnership combines classroom learning with practical workplace experience and leads to an Occupational Certificate: Health Care Benefits Advisor (NQF Level 5).

The programme is designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills, workplace readiness, and exposure to the medical scheme and insurance environment. While permanent employment is not guaranteed, the learnership significantly enhances employability and career prospects within the healthcare administration sector.


Learnership Duration

  • Start Date: 01 February 2026

  • End Date: 31 January 2027


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attend all classroom-based learning sessions and workplace training activities

  • Participate in practical on-the-job training aligned to the learnership outcomes

  • Gain knowledge of Momentum Health products, systems, policies, and procedures

  • Compile and maintain a Portfolio of Evidence for SETA submission

  • Complete required logbooks for work-based learning

  • Successfully complete formative and summative assessments

  • Demonstrate the ability to use internal systems and follow operational processes

  • Conduct yourself professionally in line with Momentum Group values

  • Prepare for and pass the required EISA examination


Minimum Requirements

  • Completed Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Mathematics passed with at least 40% OR Mathematical Literacy passed with at least 60%

  • English and one other South African language passed with a minimum of 50%

  • South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 30 years

  • Unemployed and able to commit to a 12-month learnership

  • Not currently studying (full-time or part-time) during the learnership period

  • Must not have completed the same learnership previously

  • Able to commute independently to the workplace

  • Computer literacy will be an advantage

  • Certified copy of Matric certificate (not older than 3 months)

  • Certified copy of South African ID (not older than 3 months)
